So I'm trying something new, illustrator drawing status...Still learning and practicing to get better! We'll see where this takes me =)

Children's collection!

So I'm planning to apply to Gymboree, a children's design company! Totally excited to start my application and hopefully get in. I haven't been able to blog because of many things and focus to this project, lets hope they like it cuz I'm lovin it!

The flapper dress

I finally took my time on making this dress. Endless design ideas, it all started with the fabric. I got the fabric from haight street. Toffee carmel colored, grabbed it. Saw my lace lying around and decided to pair it with a gauze like cotton. Taking time to do this dress made me realize it is key to take time for each garment with love! And you'll be happy in the end =)

Trying to go all digital since portfolios are in high demand for going digital. its a shame not even a single bit of it cant be hand drawn. although technical it is hand drawn

RANDOM ACTS OF LAZINESS

I never would have said this so bluntly but I am a lazy bum! Everyone loves to occasionally have a day where you just wont have to worry or think that you have to do something in order to get through the day. Suprisingly I had lots of errands to run for this internship application I am trying to get at Old Navy. With my mind preoccupied about being so scared, I kept making excuses up as to why I didn't get to it. Now and then I feel the sudden urge to do something for it in order make the application a success. I am so nervous! Now I finally got the edits sent in to my teacher, and waiting for results. Results doesnt = always getting it right the first time. So I am awaiting for a response.
